On November 28, 2024, LOU-TEC was honored by Leucan, receiving the prestigious Leader Leucan mention for its remarkable commitment to children with cancer and their families. During its most recent fundraising campaign, the company raised over $25,000 as part of the Leucan Shaved Head Challenge in Montérégie, demonstrating exemplary solidarity and mobilization.
A strong collective gesture within LOU-TEC
Last June, seven LOU-TEC employees took on a courageous and generous challenge: shaving their heads simultaneously in four branches (Beloeil, Mirabel, Fleurimont, and Hawkesbury). This symbolic gesture helped raise a significant amount, directly supporting children and families affected by cancer.
For Jean-Marc Dallaire, CEO of LOU-TEC, this initiative perfectly illustrates the company’s core values: “LOU-TEC is extremely proud to receive this leadership award. As a company, we believe that our success is also measured by our contribution to initiatives that improve the lives of others.”
A corporate commitment to serving the community
The Leucan Shaved Head Challenge is more than an event: it is a powerful movement of solidarity. By actively supporting this cause, LOU-TEC highlights its role as an engaged corporate citizen, making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
LOU-TEC would like to warmly thank every donor and participant who made this challenge a success, as well as Leucan for their exceptional work with families.
